I study the Tarot deeply, daily, intuitively but also very much academically.I am an academic, educational psychologist, trained in performing research, so I actively use my academic skills in my studies of the Tarot.I have studied the history of the Tarot, from it's improvised sociocultural origins in the hands of traveling mystics, to the Hermetic days through which Tarot became what we know today.References I use range from Pamela Colman Smith & Edward Waite, Robert Wang, Aleister Crowley, Kaballah and Qaballah, Astrology, Alchemy, Numerology, and of course so many of our modern authors who push the boundaries of Tarot forward and let it evolve.I have been also designing tarot decks as part of my studies - it is an incomparable way to be immersed in the Tarot archetypes - and I also do it to share new visions of the tarot into the world. I believe that with a new Tarot deck, new imagery, Tarot grows into serving many more contexts of not only divination, which is perhaps it's main popular demand, but also more therapeutic, self-reflective, and even sociocultural learning and personal growth purposes.I use many processes for Tarot deck creation, digital collage to illustration and even 3d rendering of realistic imagery. I also chose to theme the decks very differently, some slightly more traditional, and others with modern and universal symbolism. * Link to my Tarot Art Page *I also develop other Tarot-related content and art when I find the time, and have recently published a zine dedicated to The Fool, card number zero in the Tarot - displayed below and in my personal website: HERE
