Hi! My name is April Ursula Fox, I am a *Taromancer* That means I use the tarot as a tool for discovery and manifestation in many different areas of life. * link to my Tarot Studies Page *I have been studying the Tarot for many years, together with all the different systems that are part of the Tarot: Astrology, Kabbalah, Alchemy, and Numerology. I approach these systems and practices from my background in psychology and education - my interest is centered in how such systems can help people see themselves in the world and become who they wish to be.I come from a Tarot tradition, and follow the legacy of my aunt and other mentors who have set me into this path. I study the Tarot tradition from before the 1800s to this day, going from the gypsy & romani culture of fortune telling, into the golden dawn, waite/smith, robert wang, aleister crowley, among others... I have taken formal and informal Tarot training, with countless hours of practice and reading.I am also attracted to art practices, and dabble in visual arts (physical & digital), music, poetry and writing. I design Tarot decks as a practice to both advance my personal growth, and share more of Tarot into the world.I am also an academic, with a PhD in Educational Psychology, studying the human mind, emotions, motivations, decision making, and learning. This blend of science and mystical studies moves me forward and deeper into the practice and realization of what the Tarot cards can do. Tarot is a language of symbols that has many correspondences with psychology.In other words, I find the Tarot to be an excellent path for real-world manifestation, growth, and life-changing work.
